These are great draft stoppers with REAL natural filling so they can be pressed firmly against the door and they will stay. Most draft stoppers you see online now are cheap and filled with recycled paper and garbage that is not dense or uniformly shaped, making it impossible to get them to stay at the bottom of the door unless you tape them on (what a pain and you know it will eventually fall off). Not these, these are old school draft stoppers with real, weighty filling—no taping or other ridiculousness required. Also, I’m not a scientist but when I feel these stoppers along the bottom of my doors they are cold to the touch, meaning they are absorbing the cold energy that would otherwise come into the house. I’ve not wasted my money on them, but it’s basic science that those cheap draft stoppers filled with lightweight garbage cannot absorb and stop as much cold energy as these real draft stoppers stuffed with heavier, natural insulating materials.
Bottom line, it’s not worth saving $5 to buy a cheap draft stopper that you have to tape to the door and scientifically has very little material inside to absorb and stop cold air. Spend a little more to buy these real draft stoppers that actually stop the cold as intended.
